TOPIC:
Clinton Andersen, is interested in introducing the Institute and its goals to the private sector. The goals include preparing individuals for emergency management positions in the public and private sectors.
This will provide an opportunity for our members learn what the Institute has to offer.
BIOGRAPHY:
With over 8 years of emergency management experience, Clinton J. Andersen now heads the Disaster Management Institute (DMI) of Colorado located at the Lowry Campus of the Community College of Aurora. From plane crashes to simulated nuclear warfare, Mr. Andersen has been involved in all phases of emergency management and has been fortunate enough to learn from experts in both the military and civilian sectors. Complemented with a myriad of education, Mr. Andersen now directs the DMI geared towards teaching students about emergency management and homeland security, helping working professionals better themselves in their careers, and preparing the community for major events.
