Conference Purpose
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize organizations and processes throughout the private and public sector. This conference will focus on AI applications in Business Continuity (BC) and Emergency Management (EM) environments. The conference is intended to increase awareness among BC and EM practitioners on the value and potential of AI in their profession. In addition, the conference will provide an opportunity for members of the AI community to engage with the BC and EM community.
Presentations may address, but are not limited to, topics such as:
• Use of AI in BC and EM planning
• Use of AI in risk identification and remediation
• Use of AI in exercise planning and execution
• Use of AI in crisis and event response
Conference Format
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mountain time zone)
• Keynote kickoff
• Breakout sessions (presentations) are 45 minutes long including time for questions
• Four breakout sessions in the morning
• Morning and afternoon breaks & lunch provided
• Six breakout sessions in the afternoon
• Closing round table
Proposal Format
Please provide the following in either PDF or Word format:
• Label submission by first name_last name
• Presentation Title
• Synopsis with maximum 400 words
• Presenters’ biography & picture
• Relevance: Business Continuity, Emergency Management, or other (describe)
• Describe focus of topic: planning, exercises, response, risk identification, or other (describe)
