ACP Chapter Meeting July 2018
“All Hazards Approach” to Training and Exercise at DEN

Our Colorado Rocky Mountain Chapter of ACP is fortunate to be located near a venue as interesting and diverse as Denver International Airport.  On July 20, sixteen people, including four guests, participated in our monthly meeting and learned about the “all hazards approach” to training and exercises within the DRBC team at DEN.

Ashlee Herring Delventhal, Manager of Training and Exercise Design, shared a presentation depicting how she and her team address preparations for an entity of the following size:
  • World ranking:  20th busiest by passengers 
  • U.S. ranking:  5th busiest by passengers
  • Total badged employees:  29,420
  • Air Carriers – 27 companies 10,869 badges
  • Contractors – 642 companies, 5,730 badges
  • Federal Officers – 15 groups, 1,641 badges
  • Tenants – 93 companies, 7,763 badges
  • Vendors – 184 companies, 1,160 badges
